At KS Equestrian LLC, our training and lesson programs are built for riders who are serious about their development—both in and out of the saddle. We believe in high standards, individual attention, and comprehensive education that creates true horsemen and horsewomen.
For owners looking to put professional training to work for their horses, we offer two comprehensive board and training options. Full board includes: top-quality care, custom hay feeding adjusted to your horse's needs, daily blanketing/unblanketing, daily fly spray and hooves picked, and once-daily grain feeding in their stall (grain must be provided and bagged by the owner), plus full use of the facility. Training sessions may be used as lessons or training rides depending on the personalized training plan put together to help you reach your goals.
Partial Training Board – $1,025 / month
Includes full board, full facility use, 12x12 fully matted stall, access to arena, riding field, round pen, trail and 8 professional training sessions a month.
Full Training Board – $1,425 / month
Includes full board, full facility use, 12x12 fully matted stall, access to arena, riding field, round pen, trail and 16 professional training sessions a month.
(Riders can also stack any lesson package on top of full board, provided it exceeds the base training board level.)
We take pride in our exceptional horses available for student use. Our lesson program operates on a monthly, tuition-based structure, paid in full at the beginning of each month to secure your spot.

Every rider’s journey starts by getting on the same page. We establish clear, ultimate expectations for both horse and rider, then build a personalized training plan to accomplish those goals.
Education doesn't stop when you step out of the saddle. Depending on what is necessary to reach your goals and prioritize safety, our curriculum includes both mounted and unmounted lessons covering horse management, care, and horsemanship.
There is always something to learn in the barn! If the weather is unsafe for riding but roads are drivable, we do not cancel lessons. Instead, we transition to in-barn, unmounted educational sessions so you never miss out on learning.
For riders with their own or leased horses: You are expected to groom and tack up prior to your lesson start time, ensuring your full hour is dedicated entirely to instruction.
For riders using our horses: Your 1-hour lesson slot encompasses grooming, tacking up, riding, and untacking.
We hold ourselves and our riders to a professional standard. Proper riding attire is required for all lessons:
Riding breeches
Collared shirt tucked in with a belt
Paddock boots with half chaps, or tall boots
SEI/ASTM-certified riding helmet (We have a limited supply of helmets and boots to borrow for your first couple of lessons, but students are encouraged to acquire their own personal gear promptly.)
Because there is so much to learn beyond mounted riding, we strive to keep our schedule consistent. However, if you need to miss a lesson, we are happy to provide a make-up lesson as long as you give at least 24 hours' notice.
